The Rep

XRT’s Rep Company produces the most vital contemporary, classical, ensemble­ driven and experimental works drawn from diverse theatrical traditions. XRT productions push and explore the limits of the form and are linked by a common commitment to personal, relevant and arresting storytelling.

In the 2011 calender year The Rep will produce a full season of dynamic works. Our Season of Passion will feature the following events:

• Mainstage  Productions: Productions that push the boundaries of live performance and celebrate the ensemble spirit of our company!

Julius Caesar / Oedipus X (Fall 2011)

• X REPresents: Limited engagements (only 10 performances each!) presenting the artistic hunger & unique passions of our Rep company.

• Project X: A celebration & exploration of the most dynamic, new playwrighting voices in theatre today.
• Speaker Series: Intimate conversations with the industry’s top talent followed by a cocktail reception
