THE S & I ACTING TECHNIQUE
- Included in the STUDIO XRT CONSERVATORY program
- Taught by Aaron Ganz
The primary acting class taught at Studio XRT. This technique provides the actor with a full understanding of the craft of acting. By the end of the program, each student will have a clear step-by-step technique for the crafting a role, from the first read of a script to the final performance.
S & I (Specific and Improvisational) works to shape a sense of diligence, clarity and integrity to the actor’s personal crafting work by providing tools for EVERY professional situation and the understanding of how to make those tools work for each individual talent. Through specificity and keen awareness of the specifics of each actor’s instrument, students learn to thrive in the unknown moment-to-moment world of performance. The S & I acting class trains student actors to be fearless, always willing to risk in service of inspiration, while shaping a deep sense of personal professional pride - making S & I actors the very best at collaboration.
